Stonehaven Bay

The study encompassed the frontages of both Stonehaven and Cowie, from the pumping station in the north to the harbour in the south. The tidal reach of the Cowie Water up to the road bridge is included within the study. However, it should be noted that, unless options will alter the rock armour at the mouth of the River Carron, risk within the tidal reach of the Carron is incorporated within the design of the fluvial scheme.
